2 - This would have to be my 2nd favorite. Great detail, even in the white petals. The colors are vibrant and not over saturated.

1 - The alien nature of the flower makes it very interesting interesting. The clarity of the "hairs" makes me itch.

This shot shows a nice capture of emotion and would normally get my vote but I think that the crafting of the pose and composition in the other shot shows greater artistic value.

to add to my comment, I love the classic samurai pose drawing out the sword in defense of an oncoming threat. The mountains in the background harken to a foreign location, and the toning reminds me of a pink cherry blossom which adds to the Asian motif.
